We build, operate and maintain digital platforms for government institutions in South Sudan, with our statement setting out the agreements and service fees that support this work.
We signed our agreement with the Ministry of Information, Communication Technology and Postal Services on 19 November 2019, followed by an agreement with the National Revenue Authority in November 2020 to digitise non-oil revenue services.
Our non-oil revenue arrangement provides for a 2% platform service fee to support maintenance, security and reconciliation, with this charge distinct from the convenience fee for selected e-Visa services.
The US$15 e-Visa convenience fee is allocated 75% to Crawford and 25% to the ministry, with those percentages applying to the convenience fee rather than the underlying government taxes or charges.
Our share supports platform development, operations, cybersecurity and user support, while the ministry’s share supports institutional coordination and programme oversight associated with the delivery of these services.
Read or download our original statement below for the full explanation of these agreements, the services they cover and the distinction between the two fee arrangements.
