Digital government in South Sudan
Biong Deng Biong was our Managing Director in November 2023. His work at Crawford involved digital services and access to government information in South Sudan.
He represented us at the launch of the Ministry of Justice’s electronic business-registration system in May 2023. In September 2026, he spoke about our support through Crawford Capital Pay at the launch of the South Sudan Revenue Authority’s electronic tax-audit module.
Public service and community work
Biong previously worked with Australia’s Department of Home Affairs and Edmund Rice Community and Refugee Services. He is a Rotary Peace Fellow and founded the Society of South Sudanese Professionals.
His studies covered finance and banking, economics and migration law. His public service background connects work with communities in Australia and the delivery of digital government services in South Sudan.
