The May 2023 launch
We developed the electronic business-registration system launched by the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs in Juba on 3 May 2023.
The launch brought registration and renewal online. Ministry officials described access for applicants outside South Sudan and plans to train advocates and the business community.
Access for businesses
Officials explained that the process could support both national businesses and branches of international companies. Applications and payments could be made online, reducing the need to travel to the ministry to begin a registration.
Biong Deng Biong, speaking for us at the launch, linked the work to making it easier for investors to establish businesses.
