A shared route to government services
We partnered with South Sudan’s Ministry of Information, Communication Technology and Postal Services to bring government applications online through the e-services portal, introduced in 2019.
The portal brought together access to visa, work-permit and business-registration services. Bringing these journeys online gives applicants a place to submit information and follow the requirements for a particular service.
The application journey
A digital service begins with the requirements: who can apply, which documents are needed and how the application will be reviewed. The request then needs a reference that remains attached to subsequent decisions and any payment.
For the service team, the same journey needs an organised record of submissions, review and outcomes. Designing for both sides makes the process easier to follow.
Business registration
We developed the electronic business-registration system launched by the Ministry of Justice in May 2023. The ministry announced online registration and renewal, including access for applicants outside South Sudan. Explore the business-registration project for the services and application process announced at the launch.
